After resolving or discarding the issue it can/should be archived.
The archive is used to keep track of all past issues. This can help the user to find the solution to their issue based on previous experience.
In the archive you can view: Issue title, Priority, Type, Status, Severity, Assigned To, Date created, Project, and Attachment.
Furthermore, issues archive can be filtered on several criteria.
